Match-making assistance

Are you looking for an active dog or a lap dog? Do you want a cat that will get along with other cats, or one that's content on its own? Tell us what kind of pet you're looking for, and we'll help you make the perfect match! And if we don't have the perfect pet right away, you can sign up for our new pet alerts, which will let you know when a new pet is available!

"Meet & Greet" coordination

Ready to meet your potential new pet? We'll supervise a calm visit in a neutral location so that you can see if you're the right fit for each other. If you want your current dog to meet a new dog, we'll ensure that occurs safely too.

Behavior assessments

If you have any concerns about your potential new pet prior to adoption, we'll work with you to arrange an animal behaviorist evaluation of your potential pet. We want to make sure as much as you do that you're matched perfectly!

Post-adoption counseling

To ensure a smooth transition, we provide you with materials on how to best acclimate your pet to its new home, and what you should expect in the first month. At our discretion we may also make a quick house visit a week or so into the adoption to see how you and your pet are adapting. Finally, we offer ongoing post-adoption advice on developing your relationship with your pet as it settles into your home.
